These terms cover your use of My Family Tree, operated by myfamilytree.club. By creating an account, you agree to them.

The service

My Family Tree lets you build a private family tree, invite relatives with different access levels, and optionally share a branch of it via a view-only link. It's free to use.

Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• When you add a family member to a tree, you're representing that you have a reasonable basis to share that person's information with whoever you give access to the tree.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

• Upload unlawful, harassing, or abusive content.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your relationship to a family you add.
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service.
• Use another person's account without permission.

Your content

You own the family tree data and photos you upload. By adding them, you grant us the license needed to store and display them to the people you've given access to — nothing more. We don't claim ownership of your family's data, and we don't use it for anything beyond running the service (see our Privacy Policy).

Availability

This is a free service provided as is, without warranty of any kind, including uptime guarantees. We aim to keep it reliable but don't promise it will always be available or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, myfamilytree.club is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms. You can stop using the service at any time; contact us to request account deletion.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we'll update the date above. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
